Unforgettable Moments: A Calendar Full of Memories

For 2025, there is a new desk calendar that the IRO team designed in a project of their own. The calendar shows the most beautiful places in Kufstein and the surrounding area that were unforgettable for international exchange students during their stay.
In July 2024, the IRO team called on exchange students to submit their favorite photos and matching quotes for the design of a calendar. The response was overwhelming: the inbox quickly filled up with numerous pictures and personal impressions.
Together with the marketing department, a calendar was created from the multitude of entries that reflects the diversity of the students' experiences in and around Kufstein. From cultural highlights to charming corners of the city of Kufstein and breathtaking landscapes in the surrounding area, everything is included in the months from January to December.
A GIFT FOR PARTNER UNIVERSITIES
“Kufstein and its surroundings abound with beautiful places. With this project, we want to share the diverse beauty of this place of study with our partner universities and present the experiences of their students in impressive images,” said Anja Kaufmann, who launched the calendar project.
As a sign of appreciation and solidarity, the desk calendars were sent to all of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein's partner universities worldwide as a New Year's greeting together with the fact sheet and the Exchange Student Guide. This special gift highlights the international partnerships and shows the partner universities the enriching experiences their students have during their time at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol.

This special project would not have been possible without the commitment of the exchange students. The photos and quotes gave the project a personal touch and made it very unique.
The International Relations Office is always delighted to hear about the experiences that exchange students have during their time at the FH Kufstein Tirol. As one exchange student from Latvia describes it so beautifully: “Kufstein is not just a place to study, but a place where friendships become family, mountains preserve memories and every moment seems magical.”
Hopefully the exchange students will remember their time in Kufstein for a long time and we will see them again in the future!
